Band VANGUARD has reformed our band at last! It has been christened PRINCE HENRY Division and presently it consists of three snare drummers, a bass drummer, a bugler and the DPO/Drum Major, PO2 Vermeulen. Lt(N) Hall is the Div O for PRINCE HENRY Division. Any new recruits may join the band directly. Any present members of VANGUARD wishing to switch to the band in 2011 may do so, but they must recruit one new cadet to take their place in their former division before they may do so.
Practices Starting Moday, 3 January 2011, there will be range and band practices every Monday night at HMCS YORK. The practices will run from 1800 until 2000 each Monday. The correct rig to clean into for both practices is civvies with VANGUARD ball cap. Remember that your continuing membership in both the band and the range teams depends on you being at ALL practices and ON TIME!
