The VANGUARD Branch of the Navy League of Canada is
one of the most important supporter of VANGUARD Sea Cadets. The
Branch provides financial and sometimes logistical support to the
unit.
It is made up of volunteers
who contribute their valuable time towards supporting training of
Canada's youth. They meet on the first Tuesday of every month.
They also own and operate
VANGUARD's own SAILCENTRE on Ashbridges Bay Park, which keeps
VANGUARD active throughout the summer, teaching sailing to cadets.
